The Kenyan shilling was strong against the dollar on Monday
reaching its strongest level since Nov. 2016.
Traders said that the boost was helped by inflows from
offshore investors buying government debt amid low importer demand, traders
said.
History,
the Kenyan Shilling was at its weakest in September 2015 when it reached an all-time
high of 106.15.
The
currency was at a record low of 36.23 in January of 1993.
