LG’s newest laptop will change your online learning experience

We have all come across the phrase ‘Education is the key to success’. This is a world where the boy child is always competing with girl child for the limited resources with knowledge being factor to success.

Education has been termed as the panacea for all problems occurring in Africa. As the empowerment of women says a lot how forward thinking the society, they live in. When women are empowered and are treated equally, society and the economy notice immediate impacts, creating a more sustainable future for all.

However, the girl child has found it most difficult to achieve their literary goals. This is because of early marriages and early pregnancies do occur leading to some dropping out of their regulars.

Today, the female literacy rate is 74.9 percent, compared to the literacy rate of males at 81.1 percent, a stark difference from the literacy rates of the past.

Technological evolution is eradicating the traditional beliefs and customs that prevented women from achieving their goals as innovation come up every day.

Women can choose what they want to learn, and they can do it at their own ace. They can set their own goals and choose the preferred learning methods that would lead them to better results.

The latest LG gram laptops promise portable computing with improved mobility and durability, as well as upgraded processors and more versatile functionality making them suitable for e learning. Their ultra-thin bodies feature a highly efficient 72Wh battery, which allows longer work time without plugging in, lasting up to almost a full day on a single charge.

“Women in Africa have great potential as we live in this age of technological innovations that are customer oriented. Our products are designed to be economically efficient within harsh conditions that these women especially mothers go through every day,” says Moses Marji, the LG General Manager Marketing.

Through e-learning it makes it easier for educational experts to understand what works and what doesn’t work for students – which affects the learner’s experience.

The effectiveness of e-learning is constantly growing. Research shows that today, massive open online courses can teach at least as effectively as traditional courses set in a classroom. That changes everyone’s perception towards e-learning.

Women can now study while having jobs and support their families, as they are not restricted to specific timings or housekeeping duties. Further, remote learning saves on costs used to pay for accommodation, books, and all other things related to daily school activities.
